RATES

My rate is $150 per 50-minute session, for both individual and couples therapy.

I currently offer self-pay sessions, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I do accept Lyra Health (EAP) if your employer provides it, and I’m happy to provide a superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

SLIDING SCALE OPTIONS

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who are facing financial hardship. These rates range from $100–$140 per session, based on financial hardship and availability. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss sliding scale options. I believe therapy should be accessible, and I’ll do my best to work with you.

WHY SELF-PAY?

Choosing to self-pay offers a number of benefits. It gives us more flexibility, privacy, and autonomy in your care. Your diagnosis, session notes, and treatment plan are not shared with insurance companies, which helps protect your confidentiality. It also allows us to tailor the pace and approach of therapy to your unique needs, rather than fitting into insurance requirements or timeframes.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

I accept all major credit cards, including HSA/FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of service.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee, except in cases of emergency.

If you have questions about payment, insurance, or financial options, feel free to reach out. I never want finances to be a reason that someone doesn’t get the support they deserve.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have certain types of health care coverage or who are not using certain types of health care coverage an estimate of their bill for health care items and services before those items or services are provided.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any health care items or services upon request or when scheduling such items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • If you schedule a health care item or service at least 3 business days in advance, make sure your health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 1 business day after scheduling. If you schedule a health care item or service at least 10 business days in advance, make sure your health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after scheduling. You can also ask any health care provider or facility for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you do, make sure the health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after you ask.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more for any provider or facility than your Good Faith Estimate from that provider or facility, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
